About Bonfire
Bonfire is a tool which is very good for creating web applications based on CodeIgniter framework. It has developed using HMVC concept so that your application remains modular and thus the re-usability of the code increases across your different projects.
It has built in tools to make you life easy and has a pretty good documentation to help you out. The community is not so active as per now but it will surely get more momentum as more and more developers will use it.
I am not advocating it because you can do pretty much everything there by downloading and arranging the different CI modules but it is always good to have a first hand experience of something new before appreciating or bashing it. So give it a try download here.
